Not just for baseball - a little history
The first kind of headwear more or less identifiable as a “baseball cap” came about in the late 1800s as part of the uniform of the Brooklyn Excelsiors baseball team. It looked a little different from modern style and had similarities with both the sunbonnet and the kepi (a type of military hat). By 1900, these “Brooklyn style” caps had expanded in popularity.
As new designs and materials were tried, the design evolved. By around 1940 with the adoption of a vertical font panel that proudly showed off team logos, the baseball cap had settled into the iconic style we know today. How many is the minimum order?
The minimum bulk order is 100 pieces per design/colour/size, although in some instances we can do 50pcs there will be additional costs. Please contact our team directly for special bulk orders. As the Aussie Midrange Trucker Hats are truly custom made, if you can imagine how 50pcs run down a production line and costs applied for every change, the cost for those changes are far more than if 100pcs were running down the production line.
How do we send you designs and logos for our hats?
You can upload your company logo directly into our 3D design tools. It’s a powerful design tool that accepts the most common image file types. If you have any queries about this, please contact us to talk to a hat designer.
Or
You can simply email us (BELOW) with your logos/artwork in AI, EPS, PNG or JPG file format along with the preferred profile (high or low) the type of trucker hat and the colour preference of the items. State your quantities required for each item.
Can I see sample artwork? FOC
Sure, give us a day or so and we will return an email with a copy of your artwork design showing from all angles, how it will look and a full set of costs and timeline from commencement of production, sampling to completion of production. Yes we do all of this for you FREE OF CHARGE.
Can I see a physical sample?
We do not send out a physical sample of your design. However, after full payment we will go to production and then make a sample of your item(s) (around 12 days to make) and we will email you photo images from every angle of your item for approval, once we have your approval we then will go to bulk production for you.
If you need a physical sample of the Aussie Trucker Hats to try for fit and to see for quality we maybe able send you a copy of a previous clients trucker hat FOC via Express Post in an overnight satchel. International clients you may have to help pay shipping costs for this service.
What is the thing on top of a baseball hat?
It is just a button that covers and reinforces the complicated seam where the corners of all the side panels (usually six) meet. In the USA, it is sometimes called a squatchee or squatcho.
How do I clean my Aussie Snapback Baseball Caps
All Aussie snapback baseball caps are “DISHWASHER SAFE” as indicated on the inner care label
- Simply place your baseball hat on the top shelf of the dishwasher
- Add normal dishwasher detergent.
- Switch to normal wash cycle and press start
- Remove and let the item dry normally do not use a hair dryer

How do I clean my Aussie Snapback Baseball Caps
All Aussie snapback baseball caps are “DISHWASHER SAFE” as indicated on the inner care label
- Simply place your baseball hat on the top shelf of the dishwasher
- Add normal dishwasher detergent.
- Switch to normal wash cycle and press start
- Remove and let the item dry normally do not use a hair dryer
